Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 23-year-old male living in the WR2 area of Worcester who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 3 - 12 hours per week with accessing the local community and social activities.
Our client has autism and a mild learning disability and is very sociable young man who loves going out having fun and meeting new people.
Main duties:
Social duties:
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
Going to pubs/clubs
Visiting waterparks, go-karting, cycling and walking.
Visiting theme parks, playing snooker and golf.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Values: Someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity and has a good sense of humour.
Specific requirements: Must be a driver. Ideally a male of similar age who is outgoing and fun.
Hours of work: 3 - 12 hours per week – times and days to be discussed. Weekend support will be required.
Rate of pay: £12.50 - £15 per hour

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
