Overview
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to advise our clients on the most effective activities to help achieve their business goals.
The Role
Responsible for supporting the Account Director in developing clients and managing the team. You will take complete ownership of planning, quoting and implementing specific client activities. To achieve this, you are a marketing communications expert, able to advise your clients on the most effective activities to help achieve their business goals. You focus on delivering excellent customer service to our clients and build strong relationships at all levels. You have great people skills and are a confident team player. You may have direct management of an Account Executive, helping them to successfully deliver their projects and with their personal development.

Responsibilities
* Account management – Become the ‘knowledge holder’ for all aspects of campaigns, understand the subject matter and stay in regular communication with all campaign contributors to ensure objectives are met and output is achieved
* Coordinate with internal teams and clients to achieve the best end result efficiently
* With the Account Director, review client and project profitability reports, understand learnings, make suggestions and implement changes to improve profitability while maintaining quality
* Support the Account Director with team management to monitor and highlight areas for improvement across projects
* Implement best practice with comprehensive briefing documents, timelines and status reports, ensuring client approval at each critical milestone
* Identify when activity is out of scope and provide recommendations to the senior team
Consultancy
* Help shape and develop client briefs
* Understand the subject matter of client campaigns and discuss content confidently
* Take an active interest in industry and marketing trends to lead and inform future marketing plans
* Help identify business development opportunities for the agency with clients and support leadership with overall business objectives
* Provide campaign results analysis where appropriate
People
* Manage, inspire and mentor team members to perform at their peak and develop in their careers
* Know when to involve senior support and other team members to maximise client opportunities
* Develop the team with regular 1:1s and personal development plans to meet role progression and business objectives
* Be visible and approachable to all team members
Financial management
* Understand the Account Director’s role in forecasting and financial management to ensure the team supports accurate and up-to-date figures
Use of AI
