Our client a leading global commodities firm are recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join their compliance team and will be based in the City of London.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client are a leading global commodities firm based in the City of London.\n\nDescription\n\nThe Compliance Manager - Global Commodities will be responsible for supporting the Head of Compliance in all aspects of Compliance and day to day running of the team.\n\nSupport the Compliance team in undertaking all day-to-day compliance tasks.\nTo be the principal point of contact for day-to-day advisory questions.\nUndertaking the deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer duties for the company\nTo provide advice to team colleagues and business units on an ongoing basis on regulatory change and interpretation.\nTo own and implement compliance driven project initiatives across the business.\nTo develop and maintain good working relationships with internal teams and external parties.\nTo act as a trusted advisor for the business and the management team. \n\nProfile\n\nThe Compliance Manager - Global Commodities should have the following skills:\n\nThe role requires an individual with a thorough practical knowledge of the commodities derivative market, essentially base metals.\nPractical understanding of the OTC commodity and FX markets\nStrong knowledge of EMIR,MiFID2, SMCR, IFPR and familiar with Dodd Frank\nStrong knowledge of rules and guidance in respect of Due Diligence for corporate entities including but not limited to JMLSG, FATF, EU Money Laundering Directives & FCA.\nExtensive experience in the practical application of FCA rules including Conduct of Business Sourcebook (COBS), Senior Management Arrangements, Systems and Controls (SYSC), Market Conduct (MAR) and Supervision (SUP).\nProactive in refining and enhancing policies and procedures to support the business as it expands. \n\nJob Offer\n\nSalary of £85,000 -£95,000\n\nHybrid working \n\nStrong benefits package
