We are recruiting a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our innovative and forward-thinking team, as we continue to develop our award-winning inpatient service.
The post holder will support service users with mental and physical health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities include assisting in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
You will be trained to handle issues of equality, diversity, and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation. The role involves facilitating ward programmes, including group and therapeutic activities, and undertaking Senior Healthcare Assistant duties, supporting junior staff.
If eligible, you may be required to complete the national Care Certificate within 12 weeks, which sets standards for safe, high-quality care and can serve as a foundation for career development within the NHS.
