The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a hands-on role within a high performing global sales environment. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective operation of the Delegat Europe Sales Office.
As Senior Operations & Logistics Coordinator, you will take ownership across sales support, logistics, inventory, finance administration and reporting, while acting as a key point of connection between sales, supply chain, finance, third party logistics partners and our New Zealand head office.
This is a busy, varied role suited to someone who enjoys complexity, thrives on accountability, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. End to end management of sales order processing, from purchase order through to fulfilment, for key customer accounts
2. Proactive communication with the sales team on orders, issues, risks and required actions
3. Monitoring customer purchase orders against forecasts and credit limits, and managing variances
4. Coordinating inbound shipments in collaboration with our Global Supply Chain team
5. Ongoing monitoring, reconciliation and reporting of inventory across 3PL warehouses
6. Managing relationships with third party logistics partners, including monthly business reviews
7. Oversight of financial administration including expenses, accounts payable, clearing accounts and customer credit terms
8. Completion of month end processes such as excise reconciliations, volume forecasting and promotional spend forecasting
9. Acting as the primary contact for reporting issues and enhancements, liaising with our IT and Finance teams based in New Zealand
About you
10. At least 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, operations or a similar role
11. Strong end to end coordination skills across sales, logistics and/or finance processes
12. High attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
13. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
14. A proactive, solutions focused mindset and the confidence to work with stakeholders across multiple functions
15. Tertiary level qualification desirable; and
16. A passion for wine and/or knowledge of the wine industry preferred.
