Job Details
As the Curriculum Manager, you will play a key role in aligning the department with our College's Strategic Plan and Policies. Your leadership will ensure that students have access to a high-quality, career-focused learning experience, while overseeing the management of Study Programmes, staff, quality, and assessment standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain a positive culture that embodies the College's values through effective communication, ensuring learners and staff feel valued, safe, and supported.
* Model outstanding employability skills and practices.
* Represent the College effectively with external partners, parents, stakeholders, and agencies.
* Communicate effectively in line with the College communication plan and personal responsibilities.
* Support staff and teams to maximize effectiveness through professional development and appraisal processes.
* Engage in continuous professional development as per the appraisal agreement.
* Conduct self-assessment and implement quality improvements driven by data.
* Manage performance processes effectively.
* Plan, develop, and coordinate courses to meet learner needs and align with the College's Strategic Plan on Career Focused Learning.
* Enhance curriculum quality in line with Study Programme and adult provision requirements, ensuring compliance with quality frameworks.
* Collaborate with curriculum leaders and support staff to support students through tracking, monitoring, and intervention strategies.
* Contribute to strategies for improving Teaching, Learning & Assessment, supporting innovative curriculum delivery approaches.
* Ensure high standards in course planning, resources, and materials.
Job Requirements
* Significant experience managing similar services.
* Proven ability to evaluate and improve service quality with strategic planning skills.
* Teaching Qualification.
The right candidate will have:
* Experience in curriculum management within FE/Sixth Form College settings.
* Knowledge of current and future developments in FE and HE relevant to the Curriculum Area.
* Successful track record in improving standards of teaching and learning.
