Band 5 Staff Nurse (Urology Procedures)
We are looking for a dynamic, highly‑motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our busy Urology Procedures department, an outpatient clinic that delivers a range of specialist services.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30, with some days extended to 17:30 or 18:00; future potential for Saturday work.

Key Responsibilities
* Undertake and record comprehensive nursing assessment and planning.
* Deliver and evaluate high‑standard, evidence‑based nursing care to a diverse group of patients.
* Provide care independently without direct supervision and be accountable for care delivered and any omissions.
* Teach and supervise junior staff, students and the non‑registered nursing workforce.
* Act as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse – Part 1
* Current registration with the NMC.
* Evidence of recent continuous professional development.
* Experience, through placement or employment, of working in an acute clinical environment.
Job Details
* Pay scheme: Agenda for Change, £31,049 – £37,796 per annum.
* Contract type: Permanent.
* Working pattern: Full‑time.
* Location: Royal Berkshire Hospital, London Road, Reading, RG1 5AN.
