Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
* Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
* Provide support to patients by addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort during treatments.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
* Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders as necessary.
* Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong patient care skills with a genuine interest in promoting oral health.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications are desirable.
* Competence in IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
