We specialise in the maintenance and repair of cars and light commercial vehicles, with a strong reputation for honest workmanship and customer care.*The Role:*We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, diagnostic, and repair work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy.*Key Responsibilities:** Servicing and routine maintenance of cars and light commercial vehicles* Diagnosing faults and carrying out engine and mechanical repairs* Conducting MOT testing (or preparing vehicles for MOT)* Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment* Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers when required*Essential Requirements:** NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or above* Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Full UK driving licence*Desirable (Not Essential):** Welsh language skills*What We Offer:** Competitive hourly rate (£15–£20 depending on experience)* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)* Monday to Friday working – no weekends* Friendly, supportive family-run working environment* Stable, long-term employment opportunityIf you are a reliable and experienced mechanic looking to join a welcoming local business, we would love to hear from you.Pay: £41,600.00-£45,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company pension* Free parking* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
