Theatre Practitioner - Scrub
Cheshire, The Wilmslow Hospital
Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Shifts: 4 days per week, Monday‑Saturday. Shift start times are between 06:00 and 07:00. 9.5‑hour days. Overtime available as well as occasional on‑calls. Permanent. Salary: Up to £35,500 dependent on experience + 4% shift enhancement.
Job responsibilities
As a Theatre Practitioner at The Wilmslow Hospital, you will scrub in specialisms such as Ophthalmology, ENT, Urology, Orthopaedics, Plastic surgery and Gynaecology, ensuring a clean and sterile environment is maintained. You will also assist with keeping the theatres clean and tidy and manage the stock control of the department. Occasionally, you will act as the circulating person within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
* NMC or HCPC registration essential
* Scrub experience in the UK essential
* Good computer skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* A second skill (Anaesthetics or Recovery) desirable
