Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Sales Consultant to join our elegant Miele Experience Centre in the Grand Arcade in Cambridge. The role involves working three days a week, totaling 22 hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Miele Experience Centres differ from typical retail stores, with lower footfall but higher value transactions. We aim to provide a premium experience for every customer, whether they are outfitting a new kitchen or purchasing replacement detergents.
Responsibilities
1. Host clients and provide detailed quotes tailored to their needs.
2. Deliver memorable in-store demonstrations.
3. Build relationships with clients and manage longer sales processes involving multiple visits.
4. Work as part of a team to meet sales targets.
5. Communicate effectively across various channels including phone, face-to-face, and written correspondence.
6. Demonstrate credibility and confidence in customer-facing roles.
7. Utilize IT systems efficiently and work collaboratively to achieve results.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in lifestyle sales or bespoke solutions.
2. Ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team.
3. Excellent communication skills across multiple formats.
4. IT literacy and adaptability to systems and processes.
