The post holder will report to the Clinical Digital Training Manager and Deputy Manager, and will be responsible for the delivery of applications training to RDUH acute and community multi‑disciplinary healthcare professionals, across various healthcare locations. The post is mainly based at the Wonford Hospital, Barrack Road, Exeter, Devon EX2 5DW, but the candidate will be required to travel to North Devon District Hospital, EX31 4JB to provide team cover as required. There may also be occasional travel to Torbay District Hospital / Plymouth Hospital to support implementation and BAU Epic training to staff as required, along with other locations, to support projects for example, Bristol Hospital.
You will be an experienced trainer and use a variety of teaching methods including classroom based, online tutor led and eLearning. A professional teaching qualification and experience of using EPIC, the Trusts Electronic Patient Record (EPR) is highly desirable. Training will be delivered using dedicated training facilities or mobile IT equipment.
About the Role
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (core hours between 08:00 to 17:00).
This is a fixed term position until 31 December 2026. This is an internal vacancy for Royal Devon employees; Bank workers are currently not eligible to apply.
