Westminster, Central London
We are looking for a full-time live in housekeeper for one of our lovely HNW clients in Westminster who live in a 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms property.
The family is composed of 2 adults and 3 children aged 6, almost 8 and a 16 years old who is at boarding school.
The family has a hamster and 2 cats that the live in Housekeeper has to look after when the family is away.
The household is fully staffed with a Chef, a Chauffeur, a few PA’s and another Housekeeper.
The job is maintaining the general cleanliness across the house - areas covered: kitchen, living and dining area, hallway and stairs, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, plus laundry and ironing etc.
Duties include but not limited to:
* Wiping all surfaces
* Removing dirt and stains
* Hoovering and mopping floors + dusting all areas
* Changing bedsheets
* Laundry and ironing
* Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
* Packing and unpacking suitcases
* Take things to the dry cleaners and collect them
* Any other duties as required

No childcare usually required but you might be asked to babysit sometimes (you will be paid extra)
Accommodation: you will get a lovely modern 1 bedroom flat in the same building as the Principals – this is in a lovely central location, 10 min away walking from St James’s Park
Days and Hours:
You will be working on a rota basis with the other Housekeeper, usually you will work 2 days and then have 2 days off, however some flexibility is required. In total, you will be working 15-16 days a month.
Working hours: 8am to 6pm
Start: ASAP but can wait a bit for the right candidate.

Requirements
• Proven experience in a similar private household role – ideally min 5 years • Good communication skills and ideally basic computer skills communicating via email etc would be ideal • Adaptable, dependable, and able to follow instructions • Pet-friendly and confident with dogs • Looking for a long-term, stable position
