Full-time Finance Administrators required in Ipswich ASAP!
Opus People Solutions is looking for talented individuals to join the ASC Personal Finance Team, part of the Financial Inclusion and Advice Service of Adult Social Care within Suffolk County Council. The team manages the finances of vulnerable adults in Suffolk, acting as corporate appointees and court-appointed deputies for property and financial affairs.
As a Finance Administrator, you will make online claims for Universal Credit, gather necessary information such as identity, tenancy details, and capital, and work with support workers, landlords, social workers, families, and adults. You will identify problems, check decisions, ensure payments are correct, and update records on the team's Finance Protection database.
The ideal candidate will have previous office experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to record information accurately. You should work well under pressure, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be a team player with a willingness to learn. We are committed to supporting the wellbeing of the adults we serve.
A DBS check will be conducted before starting, along with verification of three years of references. Candidates must be available to start ASAP after clearance.
