We’re seeking a proactive Commercial Manager to help us drive growth, improve supply resilience, and support key decision-making across the business. The Role In this hands-on role, you’ll support commercial planning while working across all departments to strengthen customer and supplier relationships. We’re looking for a proactive Commercial Manager to help us drive growth, improve supply resilience and support key decision making across the business. In this role you will support commercial planning while working closely with and supporting all departments with a specific emphasis on supply chain department. Knowledge of contract law is highly desirable. You will be working closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and operations (production, technical, safety and quality) - this is to ensure continuous alignment of all internal stakeholders, specifically ensuring alignment between the commercial agenda and our operational capacity and capability. Key Responsibilities · Identify opportunities for commercial growth, product development and internal efficiencies. · Work with and support the sales, marketing and supply chain departments · Negotiate and manage supplier and customer agreements · Support budgeting, forecasting and profitability · Track KPIs for each department and present commercial performance to the board of directors Core Skills Required · Solid experience in a commercial and supply chain environment (ideally 5 years) · Comfortable negotiating contracts and both internal and external relationships · Familiar with CRM and project management software · Comfortable with data management (Excel, Power BI) · Able to work independently and hit the ground running · Understand how important teamwork and team building is to the business · Problem-solving mindset and results driven approach · Resilience under pressure essential · Experience in relationship management and have the ability to lead and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders · Knowledge of project management software Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration or similar Professional Experience · Typically 5 years of commercial or business development experience · Experience within the gas and chemical industry preferable but not essential
