Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon - Liverpool Weekends
Location: Speke, Merseyside
Working Hours: Hours are 9.00am - 19.00. Shifts can be either every Saturday, every other Saturday, Saturday and Sunday every week or Saturday and Sunday every other week.
Salary: £55,000 pro rata
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
* Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
* Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
* Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
* Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required
* Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
* Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
