Location: Living Planet Centre, Woking, Surrey
Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 18 months, full time (35 hours)
Hybrid working: Minimum 40% in person collaboration per month
Salary: £37,581per annum + excellent benefits
Safeguarding level: Level One

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Partnership Manager to join WWF-UK’s Partnerships team and help deliver and grow some of our most important corporate relationships.

Through ambitious partnerships we influence the policies and actions of businesses and governments, amplify our voice to show that nature matters, and inspire positive change to help restore nature.

WWF-UK manages a portfolio of sector-leading, long-term partnerships with organisations including Sky, HSBC, GSK, KPMG and Reckitt, among others. These partnerships play a critical role in helping us deliver income, influence and advocacy that enable us to scale our impact.

As a Partnership Manager you will lead the delivery and development of key corporate partnerships and projects, delivering excellent partnership management while maximising the strategic value of each relationship.

You will either manage a portfolio of partnerships directly or lead key workstreams as part of a matrix team supporting one of our larger strategic partnerships. In doing so, you will work closely with colleagues across WWF-UK and the wider WWF network, as well as with partner organisations and agencies.

The role sits within the Partnerships Management Unit, which is responsible for delivering and growing WWF-UK’s portfolio of existing corporate partnerships, ensuring the strategic value of each partnership through securing income, influence, communication, and impact in line with our bold new strategy. and ensuring they create meaningful impact for nature while delivering value for our partners.

Skills and experience

You’ll bring the skills and experience needed to succeed in this role, including:

Essential

1. Experience of account management in a commercial or charity setting
2. Strong understanding of the corporate sector and experience building impactful long-term partnerships to deliver value on multiple levels.
3. Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple organisations or teams
4. Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
6. Negotiation and diplomacy skills to enable networking and fundraising at the highest corporate level.
7. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
8. A proactive, solutions-focused and results-driven approach
9. Ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners across different cultures and geographies
10. Commitment to the mission and values of WWF and passionate about driving the success of the Partnerships team and meeting WWF objectives.

Desirable

11. Corporate fundraising experience, ideally within a global or multi-market context
12. Experience of marketing partnerships, including cause marketing associations or sponsorships
13. Experience working with partner agencies
14. Knowledge of key issues in conservation and sustainability, particularly international conservation programmes
15. Experience working internationally or across multiple markets

This is a UK based contract, and you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer sponsorship and any offer of employment will be subject to evidence of your Right to Work in the UK.

This role is hybrid with a minimum 40% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.
