HR Recruitment Assistant - 12 Month Placement 2026 Responsible for working closely with the HR Team to support and deliver the best candidate and employee experience in a leading dairy cooperative. Reports to: HR Business Partner Location: Based in Head Office, Belfast with flexibility to travel to any of our company locations KEY RESPONSIBILITIES RECRUITMENT Support the HR Team and hiring managers on the recruitment process. This will include, advertising roles, screening applications, arranging interviews and tracking candidates. Advertising positions on our company website, LinkedIn and other sites where appropriate. Working with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules, room bookings, preparation and filing of interview information, and issuing regrets. Learn, develop and execute online candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet-based resources, including LinkedIn. Arranging temps for the business when required. Delivering constructive and on-time feedback to candidates. Making the candidate experience enjoyable and positive. Developing extensive relationships with key stakeholders to enable good communication and smooth implementation and improvement of processes. Delivery of company induction information to new starts and managers, and maintaining all induction with recruitment activities such as careers fairs, University visits andoutreach programmes. Tracking progress of the yearly recruitment plan, providing regular status updates, and supporting with the interview processes when required. ADMINISTRATION Support the HRBPs in sending Offer letters, Contracts, and new start documentation via Docusign. Administration of our HR System Success Factors, including adding new employees, updating internal job move information, removal of leavers, etc. Ensure all relevant data is captured in our HR systems, and our recruitment platform is kept up to date. Reference requests for all new starts. Support on ad-hoc data requests. Reviewing job descriptions and writing compelling job adverts for our company website. Manage out employee reward scheme Rewarding the Legendairy OTHER Support the HR team on any project related work when required. Supporting the HR team with delivering and coordinating Employee onboarding. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA The successful candidate should have a strong academic record and be working towards a relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related subject. Proactive and able to prioritise tasks and manage workload. Excellent attention to detail, and confident in communicating to all levels of stakeholders within the business. Excellent IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Maintain a positive working environment. Fluent in English, and knowledge of an additional European language is an advantage.
