Job Description:
A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced surveyor to manage the maintenance, compliance, and minor project work needed across this company's Midlands portfolio.
Working remotely (based from home), you'll utilize your skills as a project manager, building surveyor, facilities manager, or similar to visit various sites and check the condition of the properties as needed.
Building relationships with each of the site teams is essential, ensuring you're on top of both planned maintenance and reactive issues that can't be handled on-site. You'll also oversee compliance across the estate, so experience with compliance and facilities management is important. Additionally, you'll organize project work through JCT contracts, including writing specifications, tendering to contractors, and ensuring quality of work.
You don't need to be chartered, but experience working autonomously across multiple sites is beneficial. Project delivery experience of up to £300k is necessary, along with some experience in facilities, compliance, and maintenance.
