Location: Stone House Care Home, Union St, Bishops Castle, SY9 5AJ
Salary: £36,232 per annum
Hours: 37 hrs per week, weekend working and shared On Call.
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to support the day-to-day running of our care home and lead the team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Duties:
1. Support residents in line with care plans, promoting independence
2. Lead, supervise, and develop care staff
3. Support rota management, shift planning, and staff deployment
4. Oversee care records, medication administration, and handovers
5. Work with families, professionals, and external agencies
6. Support safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management
7. Act as secondary on-call when required
Essential Requirements:
8. Experience in elderly and dementia care
9. Experience managing staff and teams
10. Medication administration experience
11. Knowledge of safeguarding adults at risk
12. Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
13. Level 5 Diploma (or willingness to work towards)
14. Leadership qualification or proven leadership experience
15. Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
