Your Role
As our Site Services Manager at the Ashby site, you will play a crucial leadership role in:
* Maintaining and enhancing essential engineering services.
* Ensuring equipment and infrastructure are safe, reliable, and compliant.
* Managing a dedicated team of Site Services Team Members.
* Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities.
* Coordinating contractors and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
With a strong focus on food safety, health & safety, and sustainability, you’ll lead engineering projects, support site audits, and contribute to a culture of zero loss. You’ll collaborate with engineering and operational colleagues to optimize performance across various packing lines and process lines.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Lead, coach, and develop a site services team, fostering a strong team culture.
* Drive a zero-loss mindset through improvements and tools like MP&S and Breakdown Elimination (BDE).
* Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and external contractors for planned maintenance and project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct strategic reviews of service contracts and maintenance planning.

What We’re Looking For
If you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and experience, we’d love to hear from you:
* Recognized mechanical or electrical engineering qualification (City & Guilds or above) with strong technical knowledge.
* A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing others.
* Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environment.
* Confidence with compliance, risk assessments, and tools such as PUWER and LOLER.
