It's more than a job
As a Multi-Task Inspector at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, safety and procedural standards are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking a detail-orientated and reliable Multi- Task Inspector to support our operations by carrying out inspections, monitoring compliance, and assisting with day to day operational tasks.
How you create impact
1. Inspect aircraft components, ground support equipment and raw material.
2. Support customer initiatives with suppliers and provide inspection / audit functions at suppliers or vendors premises through source inspections at the vendor’s premises.
3. Inspect products at goods receipt following customer’s inspection plans.
4. Raise Quality notifications for non-conforming product.
5. Re-inspect and re-life items which have expired current stock life limits.
6. Perform despatch inspections to customer or contractual requirements.
7. Perform departmental procedure reviews.
8. To use relevant inspection tools, software, drawings & models.
9. Support the resolving of Quality notifications.
10. Engage with customer and supplier representatives and the customer’s quality department.
11. Operate the customers SAP system
12. Checking inspection tooling is calibrated and instigating re-calibration if required.
What we would like you to bring
13. A relevant 4 year engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience (Essential).
14. Minimum level 3 engineering qualification (Essential).
15. Competent in interpreting engineering drawings (Essential).
16. Principles of machining and assembly techniques (Desirable).
17. Understanding of NDT processes and techniques (Desirable).
18. Understanding of treatments applied to raw material (Desirable).
19. Understanding concession process (Desirable).
20. Efficient computer skills inc Microsoft Office programmes.
21. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective dialogue with customers both internal and external
