I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, international product-based organisation for an Account Manager to join their Head Office team in Chorley.

The organisation partners with a wide range of clients across the UK and internationally, delivering bespoke solutions and building long-term relationships.
The Opportunity
As Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customer accounts. You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships, ensuring orders are managed efficiently, and delivering a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
Working closely with Sales and internal departments such as purchasing, design, and logistics, you will help drive account performance, support revenue targets, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
While predominantly office-based, there may be occasional opportunities to attend partnership meetings or customer events.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and developing a portfolio of client accounts to ensure retention and growth
Delivering outstanding customer service via telephone and email
Acting as the main liaison between clients and internal departments
Accurately processing orders with strong attention to detail
Proactively monitoring order progress to ensure on-time delivery
Maintaining detailed and accurate internal communication records
Supporting Sales colleagues in achieving monthly targets
Identifying opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships
Ensuring compliance with company processes and commercial terms
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
High attention to detail
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confidence and professionalism when communicating by telephone
A collaborative, team-oriented approach
Previous experience within account management, sales support, customer service or a similar client-facing role would be advantageous.
