We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for Day & Nights shift at The Chestnuts, a care home located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Full‑time and part‑time hours are available, including alternate weekends, day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Providing companionship, communication, and engagement.
* Assisting with personal care such as washing, bathing, dressing and oral care.
* Supporting medication management – prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
* Aiding in meal preparation, feeding and ensuring clients receive healthy food and beverages.
* Performing light domestic tasks such as cleaning and tidying.
* Supporting mobility and encouraging independence.
* Facilitating social activities and outings.
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
* Experience in care settings is desirable.
* Good communication, empathy and teamwork skills.
