Trainee Finance Assistant Administrator – Wealth & Investment Management Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex Salary: Competitive, with structured career development Recruitment South East are delighted to be working on behalf of our expanding client within the Wealth and Investment Management sector, who are seeking a bright, motivated individual to join their professional team in a trainee administrative capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent school/college leaver or early-career candidate who is eager to begin an office-based career and progress within the financial services industry. About the Role The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to financial advisers and the wider team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. You’ll be joining a friendly, professional environment where a confident, engaging personality and a proactive approach to communication are highly valued. Full training will be provided, along with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications and develop a rewarding long-term career in financial planning and wealth management. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to advisers and colleagues Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate client records and documentation Handle correspondence and data entry with precision and efficiency Communicate confidently with colleagues and clients to support smooth workflows Learn and develop knowledge of financial services processes and systems Support the wider team with compliance, record-keeping, and reporting duties Skills & Attributes Engaging, professional manner with strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively within a team Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn Must be computer literate within MS Office and confident at using a computer Strong academic foundation – A levels in Maths, English, Economics, Business, History or Geography desirable Qualifications & Experience Recent school leaver or early-career professional Minimum of A levels (Maths and/or English preferred) Previous administrative or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential Training & Career Development Full in-house training and mentoring provided Opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications after the first year Clear progression pathway into more senior administrative or client-support roles within wealth management Package Competitive starting salary, aligned to trainee level Excellent scope for salary progression with experience and qualifications Supportive, professional office environment that encourages growth and development Excellent benefits package including 28 days holiday Bank Holidays If you have an engaging personality and are looking to start a career within the finance sector, and you would be keen to secure a role within an expanding company where you can thrive and progress with a career, then get in contact asap
