Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a New Business Account Manager to join their growing Glasgow team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to drive new business growth while building long-lasting client relationships across the Scottish market.
The Opportunity
As a New Business Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, introducing prospective clients to a broad range of managed IT and technology solutions. You'll work consultatively with businesses to understand their challenges before recommending tailored solutions that improve efficiency, security and productivity.
Supported by experienced technical consultants and professional services teams, you'll have access to an extensive portfolio of market-leading technologies and services, enabling you to become a trusted advisor to your customers.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities across the Glasgow and wider Scottish region.
Develop and manage a healthy pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound activity and prospecting.
Build strong relationships with decision-makers across a variety of industries.
Identify opportunities across managed IT services, cloud solutions, cyber security, infrastructure, backup, networking and software licensing.
Deliver consultative sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Work closely with technical and delivery teams to create bespoke IT solutions.
Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity within the CRM system.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.About You
Previous experience in a New Business, Business Development or Account Management role within Managed IT Services, IT Solutions, Telecommunications or Technology.
Proven track record of winning new business and developing client relationships.
Strong understanding of managed services, cloud technologies, cyber security and IT infrastructure.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver value-led solutions.
Self-motivated, organised and target-driven with a passion for technology and customer success.What's on Offer
