Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The engineer will collaborate with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, and end-users. The goal is to enhance Dahua’s business performance, reputation, and ensure sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide product pre-sales promotion, introduce new features, assist customers in product selection, and support sales targets.
* Define and manage a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy.
* Train technical engineers of channel partners to improve their technical knowledge.
* Gather customer feedback, contribute to process improvements, and communicate with product management.
* Assist customers with tender documents, participate in promotional activities like trade shows and open days.
* Offer technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with R&D and third-party companies.
* Coordinate with headquarters on new products and technical matters to ensure timely problem resolution.
Key Attributes:
* Experience in managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
* Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, network, and industrial drones.
* Ability to work independently, set strategic directions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency in analyzing data to inform decisions.
* Good customer service and communication skills.
* Quick learner of new technologies.
