Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. Duties
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively.
* Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the surgery area to adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service delivery.
Skills
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
* Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Relevant nursing qualifications or experience in a dental environment is advantageous.
* Competent IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment.
