Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Gas Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities
* Conduct installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Perform routine inspections to identify potential faults or hazards within gas installations.
* Diagnose issues accurately and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
* Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and method statements.
* Maintain detailed records of work carried out, including reports on inspections, repairs, and installations.
* Liaise effectively with clients to explain work undertaken and provide advice on system maintenance.
* Participate in emergency call-outs as required, ensuring prompt response times.
* Keep tools and equipment in excellent condition through regular maintenance and calibration.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Gas Service Engineer or similar role within the gas industry.
* Relevant qualifications such as ACS (Accredited Certification Scheme) certification for gas safety.
* Strong understanding of gas systems, appliances, and relevant legislation.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults accurately.
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is preferred.

* The following qualifications is a must; CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.

Pay: £30,824.65-£47,234.24 per year
