Motion Graphics Designer, Reuters Packaged Video, London
Reuters is seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating dynamic motion graphics to enhance our digital video content. They will have a strong portfolio showcasing creative motion graphics projects, proficiency in animation software, an interest in AI tools, and a passion for visual storytelling.
About the Role
As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will:
1. Collaborate and communicate with video producers and editors to understand project objectives and translate them into engaging motion graphics.
2. Conceptualize, design, and create dynamic animations, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video content, and digital assets.
3. Develop custom graphics, editable motion graphic templates, icons, and typography to align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion graphics, animation and AI tools.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
About You
You should apply if you have:
6. Proven experience in designing and creating motion graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics projects
7. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite especially After Effects.
8. Knowledge of video editing software and techniques, especially Adobe Premiere Pro
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
11. Familiarity with business and technology topics and terminology.
12. Ideally some newsroom experience.
