We’re looking for a professional, reliable, and proactive Security and Incident Management Officer (SIMO) to join our growing team our UK Logistics and Technology Centre. In this vital role, you’ll help protect our people, property, and assets while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.
About the Role As a SIMO, you’ll play a key role in maintaining physical and operational security across our sites. You’ll provide a visible security presence, support incident management, and ensure that all security processes are followed to the highest standard.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide on-site physical security and visible deterrence
CCTV and alarm monitoring across multiple CDW locations
Support with incident management and emergency response
Conduct searches of individuals entering/exiting operational areas
Manage access control, ID checks, and visitor reception duties
Maintain accurate security logs and reports
Liaise with internal teams, keyholders, and emergency services
Patrols of the Logistics and Technology Centre (LTC)
Administer First Aid when requiredWhat We’re Looking For We’re seeking a dedicated and professional individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in keeping others safe.
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in a security or reception role
Gatehouse duties and access control experience
CCTV monitoring or investigation background
Experience with incident or emergency response
SIA Licence (essential)
SC clearance or ability to obtain it (advantageous)Personal Attributes:

Calm and confident under pressure
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
IT literate and able to maintain accurate documentation
High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
A strong team player with the ability to work independently

DBS Check (Criminal Records)
BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard)
NSV (National Security Vetting)
