Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of construction schemes across the East, ensuring commercial and contractual control from pre-construction through to final account. You'll work closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to drive value, manage risk, and ensure financial performance.
Key Duties:
* Lead commercial management of construction projects from inception to completion
* Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
* Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior commercial staff
* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure project delivery aligns with commercial targets
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying role on schemes in excess of £30m
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
