We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Powys, Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working within production-led environments and is confident carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of machinery and site equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring machinery uptime, minimising downtime, and supporting the smooth running of the production operation. Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and site equipment
* Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues
* Fault find on both mechanical and electrical systems
* Support continuous improvement projects and engineering upgrades
* Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
* Assist with installations, repairs, and equipment servicing when required
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or a similar fast-paced environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
* Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable working continental shifts including days and nights
* Engineering qualification preferred (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent)
