Full-time/ Permanent/ (7am to 4pm or 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday + 8am to12pm alternating Saturdays)

About the Role
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to play a key part in supporting sales growth by building strong customer relationships, providing expert product support, and delivering excellent service within a busy merchant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively contact potential new customer accounts to generate business opportunities.
Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and enquiries.
Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
Handle telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
Assist in the warehouse and support deliveries when required
Requirements / Skills:
Previous experience within a plumbers’ merchant or builders’ merchant environment is essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of plumbing and heating products is essential.
Experience using sales or inventory management systems.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
