Responsibilities
You will take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems across a large, secure healthcare estate. Acting as the lead authority for electrical compliance, you'll ensure all works meet HTM-06 standards and statutory regulations. Your duties include planning and supervising maintenance schedules, diagnosing and resolving complex faults, and coordinating both internal teams and external contractors to minimise downtime. You'll manage resources effectively, maintain strict tool control, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential, alongside clear communication to explain technical issues to non-specialists. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement and energy efficiency.
