Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Head Chef to join our team at The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals for our members and guests, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. You will lead a dedicated team, assisting with menu planning and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen during service. Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook high-quality meals on a daily basis for our customers in the Clubhouse and also for a variety of events held in our Mansion house.
* Maintain high standards of food presentation and portion control.
* Menu planning, ensuring that dishes meet our quality standards and cater to diverse dietary requirements.
* Motivating the team
* Taking on new challenges to push the business forward
* Work efficiently under pressure during peak service times to deliver exceptional food.
* Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
* Stock management, ensuring the correct ordering and storage of ingredients.
* Pricing and costing menus.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment.
* Strong culinary skills and a passion for high-quality food preparation.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and health and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* A flexible attitude to working hours, as it will include some evenings and weekends.
