Vision for Education are seeking an experienced Youth Worker to work in a primary and secondary school in Devizes that caters to students with Autism, Learning difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. About the role: The Youth Worker will be supporting young people with Special educational needs on a one-to-one basis. Building a strong rapport with the student to encourage them to attend and thrive in school Following the guidance of the teacher but knowing the student well enough to deal with any conflicts Working 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday Working term time only for the full academic year About the school: Located in Devizes Caters to students with moderate needs, learning difficulties and Social, emotional, and mental health needs aged 11-16 The schools core values emphasize; courage, honesty, perseverance, respect, and kindness, integrating them into all learning. About you: A relevant Level 3 Qualification such as Children and Young People's Workforce, Sporting qualifications and more is desired but not required.
