Robertson Bell are working with a Public Sector organisation to recruit a Procurement Manager. The role is to establish and drive procurement excellence across the organisation during a period of significant change and integration.

Key responsibilities:
You'll own end-to-end procurement delivery, managing supplier relationships, contract performance, and strategic sourcing. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead a small team while building capability and developing team members for future growth. Further details include:
1. Lead all procurement activity in compliance with the Procurement Act
2. Manage contract lifecycle, performance monitoring, and supplier relationships
3. Develop procurement strategy and drive continuous improvement
4. Line manage and develop a team of 2-3 procurement professionals
5. Advise senior leadership on commercial decisions and contract extensions
6. Consolidate and optimise supplier contracts across the organisation
What They're Looking For
7. Proven experience in public sector procurement (PA23 knowledge essential)
8. MCIPS qualification (or equivalent)
9. Demonstrated team management experience
10. Strategic mindset with ability to deliver day-to-day and plan ahead
11. Strong stakeholder management skills
