CNC Programmer/Setter

Hourly Rate: £17.20 + overtime available
Overview
A long-established manufacturer based in Keighley is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join its growing team. With several upcoming retirements creating new opportunities, this is an excellent time to step into a hands-on role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines.
Work from detailed engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Carry out self-inspection to ensure all components meet quality standards.
Identify and recommend improvements to machining processes and efficiency.
Support apprentices and uphold company values and teamwork culture.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven background in CNC machining — milling, turning, or both.
Confident programming ability using Fanuc, Siemens 840D, or Heidenhain controls.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety, ISO9001:2015, and 5S principles.
Proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Performance Measures
High levels of “right first time” quality and on-time delivery.
Low Non-Conformance Report (NCR) rates.
Consistent adherence to housekeeping and 5S standards.
