M&M Supply is seeking confident and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work in a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants ready to take the next step and make a significant impact in the classroom.
The Role
As an HLTA, you will take on a more advanced classroom role, delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting pupils' progress, and assisting teachers with planning and assessment. You will work with whole classes, small groups, and individual pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Support learning across the curriculum and adapt materials to meet pupil needs
* Provide targeted interventions for small groups and 1:1 support where required
* Assist with planning, assessment, and classroom organisation
* Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and school leadership teams
What We're Looking For
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
* Strong classroom management and leadership skills
* Experience working across primary or secondary education
* Confidence delivering lessons and supporting learning outcomes
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive and flexible approach
