We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join a boutique hotel in Lymington, working in a well-run, professional kitchen with a strong team culture and a focus on quality over chaos.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who wants consistency, structure, and a great work-life balance - without sacrificing standards.
The Role
You'll support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to deliver fresh, high-quality dishes to a steady and manageable service.
* Working 12pm - 9pm shifts
* 5 days out of 7 (40 hours per week)
* Leading a small, close-knit team (4 chefs + KP support)
* Consistent service levels:
o Saturday: ~50 covers
o Sunday: 80-100 covers
You’ll be responsible for maintaining standards, supporting junior team members, and ensuring smooth service every time.
