Our client designs and specifies both Electrical and Mechanical services for a multitude of projects in the commercial, industrial, government and healthcare sectors - providing an excellent reputation for delivery, quality and reliability of their services This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to work as part of our growing mechanical division operating not only in the South Wales but across the whole of UK. This position is immediately available for candidates with previous mechanical site experience and that enjoy working as a site lead on commercial, new build and refurbishment projects across the UK ensuring that all aspects of the installation are completed to a highest of standards, budget and within the allocated Time scale Not all our projects are in South Wales so we are seeking individuals that would be willing to work away, through the week - in which case Lodging will me provided > Your responsibilities as a Mechanical Site Supervisor: * Work closely and support by the management team and report to the project Manager * Responsible for managing all aspects of the project at a site level. This will include * Managing mechanical operatives, managing subcontractors, and the installation of various packages is compliant with the drawings and specification. * Manage all health, safety and environmental compliance on site including carrying out toolbox talks to operatives and sub-contractors. * Ensure compliance you will need to ensure you are familiar with the company’s latest policies and stay up to date with any changes to company procedures. * Responsible for ensuring the installation is done to the highest quality of workmanship using our internal QA procedures to record and track the quality process. * Report all on site progress and support the customer by attending various site meetings. You will also assist with the commissioning and handover process. Requirements and Qualifications for this role: * You must have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a mechanical site supervisor on large scale commercial projects * SMSTS or SSSTS * CSCS Card * An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating and Ventilation (Commercial), Building Services Installer/Craftsperson or Plumbing Systems. * Overall knowledge and good understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems and their installation methods. * Previous experience of managing a range of subcontractors is desirable. * good time management skills, the ability to multitask and have excellent attention to detail. * Good IT Skills with experience in Microsoft Office * Hold a full UK driving license.
