Job Description
GEM Partnership works in partnership with Husqvarna Group, the world's leading producer in outdoor power products, including chainsaws, trimmers, garden tractors, and home to the innovative market-leading Robotic Lawn Mower. Together we are seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join their dynamic onsite team. Reporting directly to your Team Leader, as an Assembly Operative you will be a vital member of the team, based at Husqvarnas state of the art manufacturing facility in Newton Aycliffe.
Duties
Perform a wide range of production related tasks, whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency using state of the art semi-automated electronics within a demanding assembly line.
Work across a range of production areas that include the assembly production line, build ahead and kits
this will require great flexibility and provide a rounded skillset to move between various areas within the production process of different products.
Follow standard operation procedures, learning and applying Lean Manufacturing techniques, specifically around 5S.
Work within a fast-paced, demanding, team-orientated environment, aiming to achieve and exceed targets.

Additional Information
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00
16:30 (off peak) 17:30 (peak).
Hours can increase during peak times so flexibility to working extra hours is key.
Rates of pay:
£7.55 per hour
