Theatre Practitioner- Scrub – Hywel Dda University Health Board
Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner to join our Scrub team based in the Theatre department at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth. Elective and emergency surgery is performed in our department 24/7. This post will primarily be based in scrub, responsible for all aspects of peri‑operative care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join a motivated team of multi‑disciplinary professionals delivering high quality, evidence‑based care to our patients. This vacancy is suitable for Registered Nurses/Operating Department Practitioners. The role requires working well within a challenging environment and delivering high quality patient care.
A structured induction programme will be provided for all new members of staff, plus access to on‑going continuing professional education and development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Interviews will be held on 19/01/2026.
