The Opportunity
Finatal are partnered with a fantastic, well-established private equity investor who looks at founder-managed businesses across a range of services. They have a long, impressive track-record and are now entering a new phase of growth. As a result, they are looking to bring on a new Investment Manager. The ideal candidate will have live deal experience, strong technical skills and demonstrable relationship-building capabilities.
The Role
* You will be involved on deals end-to-end from day one. This will include origination, due diligence/evaluation, execution and portfolio monitoring.
* You will work closely with the rest of the deal team to identify, screen, evaluate and make recommendations on potential investments.
* You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…) for new potential investments.
The Requirements
* Investment banking (M&A) background.
* 1-2 years in mid-market+ investing highly preferred.
* An exceptional academic track record.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ambitious, adaptable mindset.
