About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Account Manager
to join our UK sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities across the UK market. You will act as the key point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction, growth, and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of existing Customer accounts, building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
* Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell the Rude Boy Range.
* Develop and execute account growth plans to achieve sales targets.
* Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
* Deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals to clients.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
* Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer success) to ensure seamless customer experience.
* Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for the General Manager.
* Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in B2B sales and sales management, ideally within the FMCG industry. (ideally cash & Carry sector)
* Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of the UK market.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient.
* Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Full UK driving licence (if travel is required).
Qualifications
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not essential).
* Professional sales training or accreditation (desirable).
