The Multi-skilled Mechanical Fitter role will encompass the following responsibilities: * Provide mechanical fitout/installation of acoustic generator enclosures * Read drawings, identify components, and assemble/fitout items including engines, radiators, LV switch gear, weather louvres, exhaust systems, silencers, motorised inlet dampers, internal fuel day tanks, and SCR systems * Maintain good quality and efficiency * Flexibility to carry out mechanical fitting and welding small components into position * Competent use of plant and equipment, including range forklifts up to 25t, boom arms, MEWPs, and overhead cranes * Ability to jack and skate high-value items into position * Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety requirements * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Engineering qualification (advantageous) * Willingness to carry out site work with a commitment to overtime when required Skills and Competencies: * Strong mechanical fitting skills * Welding proficiency * Experience with heavy machinery and equipment * Attention to detail and high-quality standards * Good housekeeping and safety awareness Benefits: * Competitive salary * Overtime opportunities * Professional development and training Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Company pension * Free parking * On-site parking
