Senior Safety Engineer to support a large civil nuclear decommissioning project based in Warrington.
This is a long-term contract role, initially 52 weeks, with strong potential to extend for several years. Hybrid working is available, with a preference for three days per week on site.
* Position: Senior Safety Engineer
* Location: Warrington (hybrid working)
* Clearance: SC, with the ability to start on BPSS and upgrade
* Start: ASAP (dates flexible)
* Duration: 52 weeks initially
* Proven experience within the civil nuclear sector
* Experience writing nuclear HAZANs
* Safety case and hazard analysis experience on regulated nuclear projects
* British passport holder (no dual nationality due to clearance requirements)
Travel outside Warrington would be minimal and limited to occasional meetings.
