The Business
A well-established and growing organisation with a strong operational presence and complex supply chain. The business is continuing to invest in its finance function to support growth, improve reporting, and strengthen commercial decision-making. This is a fast-paced role that is based full-time in the office.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insight across the business. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position with responsibility for management accounts, balance sheet control, costing, stock, and performance analysis. You will work closely with both finance and operational teams, supporting strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Producing monthly financial reports with clear analysis of performance against budget and prior periods
2. Managing key balance sheet areas including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and reconciliations
3. Overseeing inventory reporting, valuation, and movement analysis across the operation
4. Reviewing cost performance, identifying variances and supporting margin improvement
