This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career within a laboratory environment, working as part of a small, experienced, and close?knit team. The Laboratory Technician / Apprentice Chemist Role- Carrying out laboratory tests efficiently to produce accurate, high-quality data. Working in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements. Maintaining clear and accurate records for tasks and projects. Supporting pilot plant and manufacturing trials where required. Assisting colleagues across laboratory and production activities. Undertaking additional reasonable duties as required by management. Health & Safety- Following all health and safety training, instructions, and procedures. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, particularly around chemicals, solvents, and samples. They will demonstrate: An interest in science, particularly chemistry or a related subject. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks. Good organisation and prioritisation skills. Strong attention to detail. Basic computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel). A-level Chemistry and/or a BSc in Chemistry is desirable (GCSE Maths and English required).
